Dr. Fisher grew up in southern California where his first interest in the veterinary world began as he and his brother raised and cared for a number of turtles and other creatures in their pond-filled backyard. He attended University of Wisconsin Veterinary School where he met his wife, Dr. Wrycha. He joined Northeast Veterinary Hospital in 2012.
His interests in veterinary medicine include tough internal medicine cases, dentistry, and seeing the occasional reptile. Other than work, he spends much of his time with his family, enjoys running and is contemplating running another marathon.
