Dr. Kaitie Ivory

Dr. Kaitie Ivory grew up in Woodinville and is happy to call the Pacific Northwest home again. Her childhood was filled with an eclectic collection of pets, from dogs and cats to snakes, tarantulas, and lizards, and veterinary medicine eventually turned out to be a pretty great way to combine her love of animals with her interest in science.

Dr. Ivory enjoys caring for pets through every stage of life, from puppyhood and those wonderfully chaotic first years through adulthood, aging, and end of life. Her special interests include geriatric pet care, hospice and end-of-life care, and helping families navigate the changes and decisions that come with each stage of their pet’s life. She enjoys the detective work of complicated cases, the challenge of finding practical solutions that work for both pets and their people, and the long-term relationships that develop when she gets to care for a family through many stages of their lives. She especially values being trusted with the difficult decisions, from managing the challenges of an aging pet to helping a family say goodbye, and feels honored to be part of those moments. Dr. Ivory also provides weekly home visits for patients and families who may benefit from care in the comfort of their own home.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their two dogs, Sully and June, crafting, dancing, planning elaborate gatherings, and seeing live music.
